Hi all! The SKY Happiness Retreat is taking place soon! This retreat has been taught around the country, including at Stanford in the biosciences department.
For extensive research on SKY Breath Meditation, the cornerstone of the retreat, please see this article in Harvard Business Review and TIME Magazine. A recent study in Frontiers of Psychiatry compared a SKY based program to other wellness programs at Yale (MBSR, EI), finding it to be the most impactful, improving outcomes across depression, stress, mental health, mindfulness, positive affect, and social connectedness. By the end of the retreat, participants will be able to practice SKY breath meditation and have a take-home practice of their own.
