Uplifting Your Marriage While Raising Your Kids!

Parents are Invited to this Bible-Based Study! It's one thing to make promises when you're standing at the altar. It's quite another to honor those commitments when you're in the trenches raising kids! In the book, For Better or for Kids: A Vow to Love Your Spouse with Kids in the House, authors Patrick & Ruth Schwenk offer practical advice on how not to be defeated by busy schedules, financial demands, limited time, and sleep deprivation. Learn to keep your romance strong! This 12 session study, based upon the book and the Bible, is designed to be strengthening for your marriage while you are raising your kids. Discussion leaders: Pastor Victor Nelson (married 46 years & raised 4 children) and Molly Zucker (married 12 years and raising 3 children). Class meets in the Conference Room (across from Coat Rm).

“The Word Became Flesh”

The Gospel Of John

John’s Gospel is uniquely different.  John was not so much concerned about relating the facts of our Lord’s ministry – that had already been done in the first 3 Gospels. John was concerned, rather, about giving those facts meaning, helping his readers see their spiritual significance. In this study, the Apostle John unfolds for us the life-changing truth about: Jesus, the Word of God; Jesus, the Lamb of God; Jesus’ call to be Born Again; Jesus’ life, death & resurrection; Jesus, the Good Shepherd & his call to “Feed My Sheep”; Jesus’ 7 life-giving “I Am” Words; & so much more! All are welcome! And if anyone is interested in church membership, this study will fulfill a major requirement for that. Led by Deacon Shirley Algozzine in Rm. 204 of the Christian Education Building.

All are welcome!
