Tuesday, October 31, 2023 - Halloween Dress Down Day
It’s time to get ready for the annual SPX Dance-A-Thon! Our students will be dancing throughout the day to show their Pius pride and help raise money for our school, while having a lot of Halloween fun! The goal is for every student to participate and help to raise as much money as we can for SPX!
Parents, family, neighbors, friends, businesses, etc. can sponsor a student by making a pledge of any amount. The proceeds raised will go towards teachers' school supplies for classrooms, as well as enhancements for gym, library, art, technology, and school activities.
All funds should be submitted by October 26th. Please complete the electronic form to submit your total pledge amount and send funds to Mo Chrest c/o School Office. Cash or checks (made payable to St. Pius X School) are accepted.
As an extra incentive to raise funds, we have some fantastic prizes for our students!

$1-$49.99 Gym uniform pass (Eligible all school year!)
$50-$99.99 Gym uniform pass and SPX 30 oz. Tumbler w/ handle
$100 + Above prizes, plus student will be entered into a $100 Amazon gift card drawing!
Blue & Gold Sponsor Level Families that raise $150 and above will be entered into $1000 Tuition Credit drawing! (If it is your last year in the school, you will receive a credit towards current or future tuition.)

1st Principal for the day!
2nd Pizza lunch for his/her class hosted by Monsignor Kaufman
3rd Gym teacher for the day, plus 1 hour in the gym on his/her birthday with class
Grade Grand Prize for the GRADE with the highest amount raised per capita: The winning grade will enjoy a trip to the highly exclusive SPX Movie Theatre to enjoy a movie showing with all the bells and whistles!
ADDED BONUS - If the school raises a combined total of $20,000 or higher, there will be 3 consecutive dress down days during the week of 11/13!
There will be raffles and a few games too! Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance, during lunches the week prior, or at the event. Raffle winners will be selected at the end of the day on 10/31.
Last, but not least, the popular DJ James is coming to make this event the best dance party ever! Each grade will have time to show off their dance moves. So…let’s get in the groove and put on those dancing shoes to make this event fun and a huge success!
