EVENT INFO: WEB Pitch for the Planet is a venture capital pitch competition with a twist. It will be hosted by WEB, supported by the Western Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship Powered by Ivey who will be hosting some educational workshops with us. Participants will be competing for their share of a $1250+ prize pool, awarded to them as a scale of their requested funding, similar to what you've seen in CBC's Dragons Den. The theme of our competition will be Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG). Competitors will be tasked with coming up with solutions to an existing sustainability issue in the business field and will be judged upon their innovation and financial feasibility by our panel of industry experts.  

DATES:
Nov. 15th – Opening Ceremonies
Nov. 18th – Pitch Workshop
Nov. 20th – Final pitch day (11:30-2:30)
