This workshop will hopefully help you to improve your presentation skills by learning from the best. Award winning speakers, Dr. Meili Khong and Dr. Tomasz Cecot, will share  tips and tricks for oral presentations and help improve your presentations in an practical session.

Dr. Mei Li Khong finished her Ph.D. here at HKU under the guidance of Dr. Julian Tanner. She studied a prebiotic molecule, polyphosphate, and its fundamental roles in humans and the world around us. Her greatest joy, however, is teaching and sharing the skills, knowledge, and character she has developed throughout her research journey. She is currently involved with teaching and learning in HKU. She is famous for her award winning performances at previous year's RPS, HKU 3 Minute Thesis 2018, HKU Visualise Your Thesis Competition 2018, and Asia Pacific 3 Minute Thesis 2018 which can be found online!

Dr Tomasz Cecot graduated from the University of Gdansk (Poland) where he finished his Master and PhD studies in the field of neuroscience. For several years he worked with international students in Poland and in the UK. His lectures are highly appraised by students and he was awarded ‘The Best Teacher” award several times. Currently, he is involved in teaching anatomy and graduate courses related to the communication and presentation skills.
