The Susanne Lawrenz-Miller Exhibit Hall showcases three major environments: Rocky Shores, Sand and Mud, and Open Ocean Ecosystems. Explore interpretative and live exhibits to learn about the many animals and plants that live in each habitat. From worms to whales – all are adapted to protect themselves, find food and reproduce.
June through August: Summer Exhibit Hall Tours
Dates Offered: June 25 through August 9 (no tours on July 4 or July 16 to July 19)
Summer Exhibit Hall Tours are led by our Junior High and High School docents! Students receive an interactive, introductory tour of our main exhibit hall, with a stop at the touch tank and surrounding exhibits that detail the natural history of local southern California marine life.
