What is This: This is an application to join an upcoming campaign of 7th Sea 2nd Edition. We will be utilizing Discord for voice and FoundryVTT for gameplay and character sheet tracking.
Expected Schedule: I am based out of EST (GMT -5:00). Please note that when applying. My availability is usually from 8:00pm EST onward in the evenings, though I am flexible on the day of the week and will obviously take everyone's schedule into account while participating. I am hoping for something bi-weekly, at the least, if not weekly.
About Me: While this is my first time as a GM for 7th Sea 2e, I have prior experience as a GM in other systems, as well as experience as a player in 7th Sea -- something I want to make sure you know before you apply.
About You: I'm looking for both new and experienced players. Mostly, I'm looking for people who want to dig into the lore of Théah and tell a rich story! We will all make mistakes along the way, but we know that we'll have a fun time and further develop the canon of this great land.
What to Expect: I tend to like to put all character information on the table. You may have knowledge that your character does not and that's okay. This is roleplaying -- I would hope you know more about your character. What I do ask is that you be able to manage that well. Meta-gaming is the big no at my table. I am not a GM that will punish a PC or want to "beat them." Failure on a roll is a perfect opportunity to add drama, test your character and make your victory that much sweeter!
What to Do Next: Below I have a variety of questions. Some are about your roleplaying style. Some are about the type of character you wish to play. I want to get an idea of who will be sitting at the table, to make sure we are all a correct fit for everyone else. There are no right or wrong answers, and no specific answer will exclude your eligibility.
