Reagan MS-Schedule Change Request
STUDENT MUST FOLLOW PRESENT SCHEDULE UNTIL THEY RECEIVE OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION OF A CHANGE.
Schedule Change window is from Monday, August 15 thru Friday, August 26. Changes are made on a first come, first served basis and are not guaranteed. Leveling of CORE classes will also dictate how students schedules/requests are fulfilled. Students will be notified regarding schedule change decisions within 72 hours.

Schedule changes will be made for the following reasons:
1. Academic misplacement – Student is placed in the wrong level of class (Adv/GT vs. on level) or is placed in a class without meeting the pre-requisite (Did not meet requirement on STAAR).
2. Program/Elective change- Student has been accepted into an academic program or the student is no longer enrolled in a specific program of study (choir, band, orchestra, etc.).
3. Missing an academic class- Student is missing a core class such as english, history, math, or science.
4. To balance classes so that overcrowding does not occur.

Schedules will not be changed for the following reasons:
1. Interpersonal relationship concerns between student, parent, teacher.
2. The teacher is “too hard” or “not hard enough”.
3. The teacher gives too much work.
4. The student is failing the class.
5. To change the student’s lunch
6. To have classes with friends
