Generative design systems are used to produce numerous designed
outputs that meet specific constraints. Working with these systems is
often iterative in nature, where each output from the system informs how
the user specifies new constraints to steer the generative process. Additionally, in working with these systems, users must navigate a large design space. We
are running a study to better understand how VR interfaces can be used
to provide rich constraints as inputs to these iterative systems.
The study
will take 1 hour. No previous VR experience is required. You will be
compensated with a $25 Amazon gift card for participating.
The study will happen on the UC Berkeley campus in 417 Sutardja Dai Hall. It will take place on the week of October 31 and November 7
