What is a Street Team?

A street team is a dedicated group of readers who like an author's work and are interested in helping promote their books. These readers are interested in helping to promote the author's books because the relationship is mutually beneficial. They get to hang out online with one of their favorite authors and receive exclusive material, and the author gets help with promotions to share new releases, giveaways, and special events.

What can you expect as a member of the Street Team?

Those who sign-up and participate will be entered into exclusive quarterly giveaways to receive prizes that include: books, gift cards, swag packs (bookmarks, postcards from the characters, keychains, a mystery item, etc.), one-on-one mini session to ask me whatever you want, and to hang out in our exclusive street team Facebook Group with myself and other individuals who enjoy the same novels that you do. You can also expect to get first choice to receive ARC copies, inside looks into upcoming novels, early cover reveals, exclusive Q&A sessions, and more!

What do I as the author receive?

Your honest feedback, exposure I would have otherwise missed out on, assistance with digital marketing, and to hang out with all of you.

What will be expected of you?

Street Team Members are encouraged to:

• Help with promotional events like cover reveals, preorder campaigns, release day hype, etc. by sharing Facebook posts, sharing IG posts to your stories, sharing reels, retweeting on Twitter, reposting on tiktok, or posting media provided in the group.

• Review the books as soon as possible post-release at online retailers with your honest thoughts.

• If possible, preorder or buy the books during the first week of release – this helps get books on bestseller lists.

• Post at least twice a month (Each post is an entry into the quarterly drawing. The more you post, the more you're entered.)

• When you post, please be sure to tag me. @authorteirmarks on all platforms (IG, FB, Twitter, Tiktok, YouTube), and use the unique hashtags that will be provided in the group.
