Workshop #1: Storytelling and Citizen Science
Join us on July 10th at Franconia Sculpture Park for a workshop that connects phenology with creative practice! For this session, we’ll reflect on and share experiences with plants that led to insights about relationships to the environment. Sharing stories offers a structured space to practice the art of democratic communication and to empathize with perspectives that may be quite different than our own. Participants will meander through the garden, observe both native and invasive plant life, and share brief personal stories prompted by the question: How do plants connect us to a place?

Come as you are - there is no phenology or performance experience required to take part in the collaboration! To get a sense of the power of citizen storytelling, you might listen to Climate Generation or Climate Wisconsin prior to our gathering.
