I am Eva E. Chen, an Associate Professor in Psychology at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Thank you for your interest in my study ๐๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ปโ๐ ๐ฆ๐ผ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ด! You and your child's participation is of great importance to the field of child development and the wider community, enabling my research team and I to understand more deeply how children interact with their peers, especially with those of different social backgrounds. We are especially keen on understanding childrenโs preferences across the diverse communities in Hong Kong, as this will allow us to integrate communities that are often overlooked in research. We will provide a certificate of participation and sticker gifts to your child as a token of our gratitude, in addition to a 50HKD voucher of your choice from either ParknShop or Starbucks. We are looking for children between the ages of 4 and 7 years old to participate. This study will take place on a video conferencing platform of your preference (e.g. Zoom). Therefore, the use of a laptop, computer or tablet with a functioning microphone and camera will be required to partake in this study. Unfortunately, mobile phones are not suitable. Please help us answer the questions below to register your child's participation in our study. Once submitted, a member of the research team will reach out to you with further details of the study and schedule a time slot for your child's participation via WhatsApp (or Email).
