Anrikningsverket - the not-for profit association that organizes Norberg Festival as well as year-round multidisciplinary productions is going through major organizational changes. If you are interested in taking part in keeping the organization and the festival going, and want to help shape its future direction, please fill in the following contact form to get involved.
In the months following the festival, we will convene working groups based on specific areas of organizational change such as Organizational Structure, Fundraising, Programming or Production management. The work of these groups will inform decisions that the board will take about structure of the association, budgets, programming and funding.
Working groups will first be facilitated by current board members or people working with the board of Anrikningsverket. There are currently no restrictions on participation to working groups. Participation to working groups will automatically make participants members of the association and will enable them to vote on selecting their own working group spokesperson. It is advisable for the spokeperson/secretary to consider applying to become a board-member as this will enable them to vote on board decisions and relay knowledge produced in working group sessions. These decisions affect the direction that the association takes both organizationally and artistically. These groups will convene in the aftermath of the festival in August for the first time and will decide on their own agenda and schedules.
Questions regarding Working groups can be addressed to Sami Itävuori (Board Nominating Committee), Masha (Board member, maria.glazunova@norbergfestival.com and Blue Maignien (Board Member, blue.maignien@norbergfestival.com). Masha, Sami and Blue will be facilitating the workshops at the festival and working in Mimer so feel free to talk to them in person.
