ClapBack Queens & Kings is a show that explores, unpacks, examines and features creators of what we call "clapback culture". Over the past decade as we pursued and defined our existence & artistry; We noticed that the way art was being put out into the world by artists of the mainstream, and more specifically of the independent/DIY artist communities, art has been created without concern of the "white gaze" or without a sense of seeking approval from any of the powers that be. On this show we talk about this cultural revolt in any and all the way possible as if we were on a stoop in Brooklyn, where we spent our formative years. On a stoop, all types of conversations could be had between people of all walks of life. CBQK brings that informal conversation  to our show.

As a guest or panelist, you may be sitting in with the resident Queens & Kings that are in the #CBQKNetwork broadcast studio, as we just kick it  and chat about life and art with the comedic & critical eye that allows us to laugh through the chaos and pain of daily life. All you are asked to do/contribute in a panelist format is your opinion on whatever topics are discussed as they are presented to the group and participate in the comedic discourse as much as you feel comfortable to. This format, and the show in general,  is meant to be very comfortable and organic, as if you were chilling on the stoop on the block. (#ImSoBrooklyn) As a featured guest, I, J TheGodIS have an informal interview with you to let our audience learn a little about you, your life experience & work for as long as you wish to participate. The purpose, is to contribute these collected narratives & stories to the archive being built by #TheJuneteenthProject in an attempt to humanize the existence of Black/Brown/Indigenous/marginalized people.

To ensure all future credits and copyrights are in order, we need to collect some basic info for everyone involved.
