Trinity County Resource Conservation District and the Trinity County Fire Safe Council are facilitating the Wildland Fire Assessment Program (WFAP) which funds local volunteer fire departments to complete free home assessments for landowners.
The home assessment covers the following topics: Emergency Preparedness, Defensible Space, Emergency Vehicle Access, and Home Hardening. The assessment will provide the landowner with suggested improvements to improve the fire resiliency of the structures on the property and increase your preparedness for wildfires.
Completion of this survey will sign you up for a Firewise Home Assessment and notify us of your interest in wildfire by reducing hazardous vegetation around your home, access routes, and/or strategic locations on your property.
In addition, your responses will help us determine whether you are a good candidate for the TCRCD's fuel reduction projects.
Before proceeding, please be aware of the following:
- Completion of this form does not guarantee fuel reduction or financial assistance of any kind.
- This survey is intended to capture interest in unincorporated Trinity County only.
This information will be managed by the Trinity County Resource Conservation District on behalf of the Trinity County Fire Safe Council.
