Old Firehouse Books is proud to work with our local authors to help get their books into the hands of readers. Whether you are self-published or traditionally published, we have programs to help you! Answer the questions below to find out more about our consignment program and our event options.

**Events rely on word of mouth and the author themself promoting the event.** We do our part in marketing, but you will be more successful reaching the people most likely to support you, and that's where the attendance really comes from for local author events.

If you’ve got an author friend, we recommend you team up! Events with more than one author–if the authors are in conversation or on a panel or giving a workshop–have higher attendance than just a simple reading.

This form is intended for authors. If you are a publicist or a publicity company/firm, we ask that you forward this directly to the author you are representing and have them fill it out.

We will try to respond within one month of your inquiry. Please be aware, we book events two months in advance, and there might be lag time in our response and in any action taken after the response. We will only respond to inquiries we think are good fits for our store. If you do not receive a response within 30 days of your inquiry, please assume that we are passing on your inquiry and wish you the best of luck!
