*If for any reason in the future you can no longer keep the hamster, please let us know as we can either foster it until you can care for it again, take it back to keep, or we can work together to find it a new home.*
*Minimum cage size is 450 square inches for dwarf hamsters, and 600 square inches for Syrian hamsters. Length x Width = square inches. FYI: Pet stores do not carry any suitable cages except the 40 gallon breeder tank. I am here to help you find the right cage!*
*Cages only need to be cleaned every 6-8 weeks, depending on size and bedding depth. Sometimes longer!*
*If you are adopting a dwarf and using a bar cage, be sure the spacing of the bars is small as dwarf hamsters are excellent escape artists! If you can fit your finger through then the wires are too far apart.
*Hamsters should ALWAYS have access to food. They should have blocks in their cages 24/7. No exceptions. Seed mix should be fed every few days, but blocks should always be available for them to eat. You need to just fill a bowl full and leave it in cage at all times.*
