The JCI LOC team has arranged for some excursions and which will be available throughout the conference. Please choose from the options below. The excursion costs will be added to your accommodation and transfers bill. Alternatively, there will be an Excursions Desk available during the conference, and you are welcome to come and make your booking at the Desk.
1. Excursion 1 - Wine Tasting at the fabulous Victoria Falls Wine Experience Tasting Room (Shop #2, Elephants Walk)
If you love wine, then you will love The Victoria Falls Wine Experience, Victoria Falls own and exceptional venue for wine lovers. Book a tasting from $30 per person inclusive of wine and a charcuterie / cheese board. All set in an inviting location in the heart of Victoria Falls. When you're done with the tasting, you can order your favourite wine to take back home with you, or arrange for shipping direct to your home.
2. Excursion 2 - Sunset Cruise on the Mighty Zambezi River
After the excitement of Victoria Falls, spend the late afternoon drifting down the mighty Zambezi River and chatting to colleagues over drinks and snacks. Keep an eye out for some elephants, hippos, crocodiles and other game during the cruise. And then prepare yourself for a riot of dazzling colours at the end of the cruise as the sun sets on the Zambezi River. Great photo opportunity!
3. Excursion 3 - Tour of the Victoria Falls
It’s a truly awe-inspiring experience – the sights and sounds of one of Nature’s masterpieces. The Victoria Falls, known as the “Smoke that thunders” in the local Tonga language, is the largest single curtain of falling water in the world and one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World. Nothing can ever prepare you for the breathtaking spectacle as the mighty Zambezi plunges over 100 metres into the deep and winding gorge, full of turbulent rapids and whirlpools. Our experienced guides will walk you through the main viewing points answering any questions that you may have along the way. Wear comfortable walking shoes and don't forget your camera! Expect up to 2hrs viewing.
