Youth Empowerment Body Application (Ages 16-25)
This application is for anyone interested in the position in Writer's Block Ink's Youth Empowerment Body. The purpose of this program is to instill leadership into the youth in our community and encourage them to connect with each other on how to thrive in and outside of The Block. The youth will be responsible for creating events for their peers and potential Block students, making executive decisions in programming ideas and curriculums, and expressing their needs, concerns and visions for the Block to the Advisory Board of WBI, as well as holding their own sessions, promoting the Block via social media and planning their own “field trips.” With this body, the selected youth will shape the environment of Writer’s Block that keeps the organization in alignment with its mission statement.
