With
Le Paris Noir, discover the Parisian History of "the swing on the right bank (of the Seine)".Β
Kevi, your guide, will offer a visit through black American artists and intellectuals in Pigalle, Montmartre and The Goutte d'Or.Β
You'll start the tour in front of the famous Moulin Rouge in the Pigalle district.
Nicknamed "Harlem sur Seine" in memory of its avant-garde jazz scene, this part of the city welcomed the first African-American diaspora in the 1920s (Josephine Baker,Β Eugene Bullard, BrickTop and many others).
Next, you'll head to Montmartre to talk about the artistic tradition of this unique neighborhood.
This trip will end in La Goutte d'Or, the largest African hub in France,
between multiculturalism and gentrification.
