About StatFest

StatFest 2024 is a free, one-day conference aimed at encouraging Black, Indigenous, and other undergraduate students of color to consider graduate studies and careers in the statistical sciences. The StatFest Expo gives exhibitors the opportunity to engage closely, educate, and create connections with StatFest attendees, most of whom are students considering their next steps in their education or careers. The Expo remains a focal point of our plans for networking and recruiting, and its value has been conveyed through post-StatFest survey responses and continued participation from various institutions over the years.

StatFest will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Columbia University in New York City. The tentative program for this year’s event is available here, and more details about the conference and its history can be found on our StatFest website.

Due to space constraints, our StatFest Expo this year will be limited to 8 exhibitors. Website features may be available this year to a select number of exhibitors. 

Whether or not you are invited to exhibit in the StatFest Expo, all are welcome to attend StatFest 2024 and connect with participants. 

Sponsorship Information

Sponsorship is not required in order to participate in the StatFest Expo, but priority for space will go to our sponsors. Exhibitor Selection Process

If you are interested in participating in the StatFest Expo this year, please complete this form. When selecting exhibitors for StatFest this year, sponsors will get first priority but we will otherwise consider how well your organization aligns with the mission of StatFest (including relevance to the undergraduate student population), your organization's history of partnering with StatFest, and the balance of the types of organizations and opportunities in the Expo.  

Note: Institutions with multiple departments that express interest may be asked to jointly share an exhibitor space.

If you are invited to participate in the StatFest Expo, we will follow up with details about the exhibitor space. We may also follow up to request logo, links and/or material to promote on the StatFest 2024 website. Student registrants will be directed to the expo website in regular mailings leading up to the event.

We expect to make initial decisions in mid June 2024.
