Junior and Senior Awards
Farmington seniors can be considered for a AAA (Academics, Arts, and Athletics) Award and Farmington juniors can be considered for an ExCEL (Excellence in Community, Education and Leadership) Award.  Please review the criteria for each award below and decide if you are qualified.  If you are interested in being nominated please list your qualifications in each category.

Juniors
ExCEL - Excellence in Community, Education and Leadership – is a unique recognition program designed exclusively for Minnesota high school juniors who are active in school activities, who show leadership qualities, and who work voluntarily in their community.
Every member school of the League is invited to nominate one girl and one boy for the ExCEL Award. Nominees must:
a. be a junior in high school
b. make satisfactory progress toward graduation
c. participate in a MSHSL fine arts and/or athletic activity
d. hold a leadership position(s) in their school
e. work voluntarily in their community.

Seniors
AAA Nomination Criteria
To be eligible for the Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award a student must:
a.  be a high school senior at the time of nomination. Nominations are limited to two qualifying students per school, one male and one female.
b.  have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the date of nomination.
c.  participate in League-sponsored athletics and fine arts activities.
d.  comply with the MSHSL's Student Code of Conduct.
e.  complete the application form and submit it to the administrative region secretary by the second Monday in January or a date specified by the region committee.
