The GEM facility provides a monthly PCR-based Mycoplasma screening service for cell culture. The current cost for 12 months of service is $260, providing testing for up to 8 samples a month.

Sample submission instructions:
- Sample drop off is at RGN3111 on the first Wednesday of each month, with results (pass/fail) provided the next day
- Samples are 20 ul spent culture media (ideally media that has been on cells for > 48hrs)
- Samples are to be provided in a single 8-well PCR strip tube, labeled with the PI's name on the 1st tube
