EMU Theatre Scholarship Audition Form Winter 2022
Eastern Michigan University Theatre has several scholarships available for incoming freshmen and transfer students for the 2022-23 academic year. Scholarship auditions will be held in person on April 2, 2022. Please arrive by 4 p.m. to be checked in, auditions will begin at 4:30 p.m.  Performers, stage managers and technical theatre students are encouraged to apply. SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE DUE MARCH 25, 2022

--Performance Audition Requirements: Two contrasting monologues, not to exceed 90 seconds each. Optional but strongly encouraged - Singing 16 bars/measures from a musical theatre selection. An accompanist will be provided, please bring sheet music in a 3-ring binder.

--Tech/Stage Management Requirements: Presentation that demonstrates auditionee's skills in the tech/design/publicity/sm areas. Example - Tell us about your skills, display renderings, set models, costumes, images from productions that showcase your work.

--A letter of reference from a theatre director, tech director, acting/singing coach, etc. is required and should be emailed to Pam Cardell at emu_theatre@emich.edu

--Auditions/Tech Presentations should not exceed 3-4 minutes.
