The Arts Council has engaged an external contractor to conduct an investigation of factors affecting funding of Black and Black Irish artists living in Ireland.

Dr Lucy Michael (lucymichael.ie) and her team are undertaking this investigation on behalf of the Arts Council.

We invite you to participate in interviews to help us to understand the range of factors and barriers affecting funding applications.

You should be a practicing artist who has applied for Arts Council funding in the last 5 years.

If you are selected for interview, you will be compensated for your time directly by Lucy Michael Research on behalf of the Arts Council.

Your name will not be shared with the Arts Council. Data will be edited to assure anonymity to participants in the writing of the report.
