Thank you for your interest in participating in the chorus for Kenosha Opera Festival's summer productions! If you are unable to attend the in-person audition in May, please submit this form in order to be considered.
The titles are:
The Barber of Seville (Rossini)
July 29th, 31st, Aug 4th, and 6th
This is for Tenor/Bass voices in Italian (we'll make sure you're all coached up on language), and the material is very accessible and manageable for all levels of singers, so it's a fantastic way in if this is your first opera!
Orfeo ed Euridice (Gluck)
July 22nd and 23rd
This is being adapted for Soprano/Alto voices in Italian (we'll make sure you're all coached up on language), and and the material is very accessible and manageable for all levels of singers, so it's a fantastic way in if this is your first opera!
Please note that Kenosha Opera Festival will be having chorus rehearsals through the months of June and July. Rehearsals and performances will be held at the Rhode Center for the Arts in downtown Kenosha. In this form we will ask for any potential conflicts you may have, but please understand that a very high number of conflicts in this time period may prevent us from accepting you into the chorus.
