We have had a difficult year and a half, living in a pandemic and experiencing a natural disaster that many are still cleaning up from. We have certainly needed to be "Strong and Courageous" in the midst of these things, facing them head on. Sometimes though, we may have not felt that strong, but we were strong from the community around us. Join the women at Lovely Lane UMC for a Women's Retreat, "Strong and Courageous."

We will have worship, nature art, lunch, meditation, spiritual practices, and hear from our speaker: Lindsay Leahy. Lindsay is the founder of The Restoration Project, a company that coaches individuals and consults organizations to live, lead, and work in an integrated, meaningful way.

We will also be holding a drive for Way Point, collecting hygiene products. These can be:
-Toilet Paper
-Diapers and Pull Ups (Larger size for children)
-Baby Wipes
-Women's/men's deodorant
-Toothbrush/toothpaste
-African American hair products
-Tampons/Sanitary Pads
-Lotion

8:30am-2pm.
Cost is $25, and you can pay ahead at the church, mail a check, or pay the day of the retreat.
