Yancey Grown Marketing Website Grower Application
NC Cooperative Extension of Yancey County is in the process of updating the "Yancey Grown" website.  Yancey Grown was a website that was established prior to 2019.  In recent years, the website has not been maintained and has become dated.  We are reworking the website to be updated and to better serve the local farming community.

The purpose of this website is to serve as a marketing resource for farmers and agri-businesses that are located in Yancey County.  We are revamping the website to highlight Yancey County farmers and the work that they do producing food, feed, fuel or fiber.  Another purpose of this website is to recognize those farms that are open to the public as agri-tourism entities and we hope that this resource will help bring more business to the agri-tourism entities located within Yancey County.  Since Yancey Grown was first utilized, most farms now utilize social media (facebook, youtube, twitter, snapchat, etc.) to promote their business.  We hope that the Yancey Grown website will serve as a central resource that will help direct visitors, new residents, and new customers to social media sites and eventually lead them to conduct business with local farmers.
