This form is for players to nominate for HAW TigerMoths Come & Try program

Hockey Albury Wodonga is running our Come & Try program for 2021.  Programs will be run in Albury, Wodonga, Corowa, Beechworth and Wangaratta.  The "Come & Try" program has been developed to provide children from the ages of 5 and over with the fundamental skills to learn the great game of hockey, in a fun and safe environment.

Whilst being an organised and structured game-based program, the program teaches children a wide variety of skills which are a great stepping stone into junior hockey teams with their local club.

The 2021 programs will be run:
*  In Albury on Saturday mornings at 9.45pm from 20 February to 27 March.  
*  In Wodonga on Thursday afternoons at 5.15pm from 11 February to 11 March
*  In Corowa, on Thursday afternoons from 5pm from 18 February to 25 March
*  In Beechworth - call Ian McVea on 0488 553 633
*  In Wangaratta on Thursday afternoons at 4.30pm from 4 March

Note that in Albury there will be both a mixed program and a girls only program.
 
The cost for TigerMoths program is free and includes 6 weeks of coaching. 

Sticks and shin pads will be available for loan on each day.  Or you can purchase a hockey kit (stick, ball, shin guards) at the grounds at Albury.  At the other grounds talk to your coordinator to sort this.

Remember it is COMPULSORY for all juniors to wear a mouthguard in both training and whilst playing games. You can purchase mouthguards from the canteen on a Saturday morning during the season or from your local pharmacy or sports store.
