Ten At the Top Litter Cleanup - Laurens

Litter is an issue that all Upstate counties face. This cleanup is part of a friendly litter cleanup competition between the Upstate counties called the Upstate Team-up to Clean-Up! This litter cleanup competition is a way to work together, support each other, share ideas, create widespread awareness, and rally support from our communities, local businesses, and government entities! 

Keep Laurens County Beautiful is thrilled to be collaborating with Ten at the Top for this cleanup!  This organization reached out looking for a way to serve their community through litter cleanup. Their members will be participating in this cleanup, but more help is needed so we are asking the public to join this effort

Who: Everyone is welcome, but make sure your little one is old enough and capable of walking safety on the shoulder of the road.  Parent and guardian must accompany any kids under 18 years old.   
Please RSVP below so we know how many people to expect!

What: During this volunteer litter pickup event you will be assigned a section of E Farley Av and Garlington St to pick up trash. We will provide safety vests, trash bags, trash grabbers, and gloves. Please wear shoes that can get muddy and wet and be prepared for walking on the shoulder of the road. We encourage you to bring your own water and snacks.

When: April 21th from 10:30pm-12pm 

Where: We will be cleaning E Farley Av and Garlington St . 

Meeting Location 627 E Main St STE A, Laurens, SC 29360 (old Family Video)

Prior to volunteering everyone will be required to fill out our Volunteer Waiver Form. If you can print this form out and have it completed on arrival it will help speed up the check in process.  
WEATHER
Participants will be notified the night before the event if we need to cancel due to the weather.
We will send an email a day or two prior to the clean up to let you know other relevant details
