SPA Musical Theatre Spring Break Camp Intensive
Dear Performers & Families,

Everybody’s somebody at Snellville Performing Arts, The Place Where Gwinnett's Artists Go to Grow and we are so excited to welcome you to our 2021 Spring Break Musical Theatre Camp Intensive! This Spring, you will be immersed in an exciting musical theatre experience. Develop existing talents and discover new ones through this one-week camp intensive for student performers aged 10 and up highlighting some of our favorite Broadway shows! Learn choreography, character and script analysis, music, blocking, and vocal techniques, all building up to a showcase performance that closes out the intensive!  This one week intensive is only $175 per performer!

Within this packet, you will find information regarding registration, pricing, schedules, policies, practices, contracts, etc. We have worked very hard putting together an exciting, entertaining, engaging, and educational Spring program that we are thrilled to experience with you!

Please fill out the information below and submit this form.  We will ensure that there is space for your performer in the camp, create a file for your family in our systems, and email you back with a payment invoice so that you can complete payment.  After that, get ready for the staycation of a lifetime as we experience this one week intensive together! Space is limited, so be sure to complete your registration and payment as soon as possible!

CAMP INFORMATION
COVID-19 GUIDELINES:
Performers, staff, and audience members will remain masked for all rehearsals and performances.  For our audience, seating will be limited and socially distanced by family group.

REHEARSALS:
Monday-Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm. Student performers should arrive daily between 8:00am-8:30am.  The last ten minutes of rehearsal will be utilized for packing up, tidying up our work areas, and preparing for dismissal so that students are available to leave right at 5:00pm.

ATTIRE & MATERIALS:
Performers should come dressed in athletic wear, ready to move, including sneakers and/or jazz shoes (not character shoes).   Student performers will need to bring a towel or yoga mat, a refillable water bottle, a packed lunch and healthy snacks, and their camp materials (provided by SPA) daily.

SHOWCASE PERFORMANCE:
Our showcase performance will be on Friday, April 9th at 8pm and will present a variety of solos, small group numbers, and large ensemble numbers highlighting everything our student performers have learned throughout the week. Tickets are $10 per person; seating is limited and socially distanced by group. We will send out a link for tickets on Monday, April 5th.

**On Friday, April 9th, student performers will stay with us at SPA the entire day, from 8am through the end of the showcase.  SPA will provide dinner for our performers on performance day.

Hold Harmless Agreement:  I understand that with any activity there is a chance of injury or sickness to a person or damage to personal property. Medical Emergency Agreement/Release: In the event of injury or other need, I authorize Snellville Performing Arts to seek medical treatment at the nearest medical facility. Covid-19 Agreement/Release:  According to the GCPBSA, businesses, individuals, and other entities cannot be held liable for damages involving a COVID-19 liability claim, unless the claimant can show that the entity’s actions involved “gross negligence, willful and wanton misconduct, reckless infliction of harm, or intentional infliction of harm.”  Under Georgia law, there is no liability for an injury or death of an individual entering these premises if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of contracting COVID-19.  You are assuming this risk by entering these premises.  At Snellville Performing Arts, we have implemented an extensive set of standard operative procedures to ensure that our studio is sanitized, students are masked when inside the building, visitors are limited, social distancing procedures are in place, etc.  We are doing everything that we reasonably can in order to prevent exposure for our students, staff and families.  By signing below, you are indicating an understanding of this information.
