The Book of Job - Pastor Mike would share insights from his journey through this book while wrestling with his mother's Alzheimer's, covering why bad things happen to good people, why evil exists, where God is in our suffering, supporting friends who are hurting, and where we find hope.
A House United: How the Church Can Save the World -  Allen Hilton believes that religion isn’t inherently divisive, and he suggests a new role for Christianity. Jesus prayed that his disciples might all be one, and this book imagines a proper answer to that prayer in the context of American polarization.
Women of the Bible - We’d take a look at the stories, actions, and inspiration provided by some of the most overlooked characters of the Bible.  We'd look at some of the more obvious figures like Ruth, Mary, and Mary Magdalene, but also some of the lesser known ones, like Esther, Rahab, Hagar, and Lydia.
Confronting Death - Led by Christian writer Walter Wangerin Jr., who wrestles with his own terminal illness, we'd explore the experience of serious illness, preparing for death, care for caregivers, handling pain, dealing with the dying process, and living faith.
Love and Quasars - Astrophysicist Paul Wallace shows how faith and science are pitted against one another, and he explains how the standard ways of reconciling them don't work. He then proposes a reasonable, thoughtful approach that will appeal to Christians and students of science alike.
Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis - Read with us this classic masterpiece of religious fiction that entertains readers with its sly and ironic portrayal of human life, temptation, and foibles from the vantage point of Screwtape, a highly placed assistant to the devil.
Shining like the Sun: Seven Mindful Practices for Rekindling Your Faith - We'll explore attentiveness, ordinariness, simplicity, rhythms, conversation, delight, and restoration.  Through observations, stories, and tangible suggestions for how to embody each practice, we'll discover God hidden deep inside our own being.
