We are looking for community volunteers to act as Art Jurors
and help select which art grant applications should receive funding for the 2024
Gateway Burn Racoon Mayhem.
We will need 8
community jurors and four alternates in case of unforeseen circumstances
conflicting with the meeting times. The jury will consist of people from the
gateway community.
By volunteering as an art juror, you are committing to
reviewing the art grant applications, rating the applications using a provided
form, and attending the virtual jury meeting to assign funding awards.
This year, we will have a cycle for Advance Funding and a
possible additional cycle for reimbursement funding if ticket sales allow
for more art grant funding after the burn. Art that is eligible for
reimbursement will be determined during jury voting in the first two cycles and
if there are funds available, the third cycle meeting will be determined in
July, after the burn. You may commit to one or all cycles.
Voting Period: April 8 – April 24 with Meeting before Sunday, April 27
Cycle 3 (Reimbursement) Voting Period: July 1 – July 29 with
