Teachers play an important role in the lives of young adults, families and society. Each month we would like to recognize one outstanding teacher at ILTexas GP K-8 and highlight his/her achievements.

The Teacher of the Month Award has been established to recognize outstanding teachers for their dedication, professionalism and work. Those receiving these awards will be nominated by the students, parents, administrators, and colleagues for excellence in their classroom and / or the school.

Criteria for nomination....

** Excellence in the Classroom or in her/his job – consistently advancing students to higher levels of academic      achievement.
** Motivation – having the ability to motivate and encourage students to advance past their expectations both academically and socially.
** Leadership – serving as a leader not only in the classroom, but also throughout the school.
** Community Service – demonstrating the importance of civic responsibility by being active in
community or other service organizations.
** Creativity and Imagination – demonstrating creativity and imagination in their lesson plans and teaching methods that inspire students to learn. For staff, this means demonstrating creativity and imagination in carrying out their job duties in such a way that they motivate and inspire others in the school community to learn.
** Dedication – showing excellent attendance, punctuality and a desire to see their students advance, in addition, participating in programs and activities outside the school day.
** Communication – communicating articulately to their classrooms, colleagues and beyond.

Los maestros juegan un papel importante en la vida de los adultos jóvenes, las familias y la sociedad. Cada mes nos gustaría reconocer a un maestro sobresaliente en ILTexas GP K-8 y resaltar sus logros.

El Premio al Maestro del Mes se ha establecido para reconocer a los maestros sobresalientes por su dedicación, profesionalismo y trabajo. Aquellos que reciban estos premios serán nominados por los estudiantes, padres, administradores y colegas por su excelencia en el aula y / o la escuela.

Criterios para la nominación ...

** Excelencia en el aula o en su trabajo: avanzar constantemente a los estudiantes a niveles más altos de rendimiento académico.
** Motivación: tener la capacidad de motivar y alentar a los estudiantes a avanzar más allá de sus expectativas tanto académica como socialmente.
** Liderazgo: servir como líder no solo en el aula, sino también en toda la escuela.
** Servicio comunitario: demostrar la importancia de la responsabilidad cívica al ser activo en
comunidad u otras organizaciones de servicios.
** Creatividad e imaginación: demostrando creatividad e imaginación en sus planes de lecciones y métodos de enseñanza que inspiran a los estudiantes a aprender. Para el personal, esto significa demostrar creatividad e imaginación en el desempeño de sus tareas laborales de tal manera que motiven e inspiren a otros en la comunidad escolar a aprender.
** Dedicación: muestra una excelente asistencia, puntualidad y un deseo de ver a sus estudiantes avanzar, además de participar en programas y actividades fuera del día escolar.
** Comunicación: comunicación articulada a sus aulas, colegas y más.
