Twisted Lotus Application
Hello! I appreciate your interest in working for The Twisted Lotus. We are a kink-based and queer friendly immersive roleplaying dungeon establishment (think Crystal RP style). You MUST be 21+ in REAL LIFE to work here and be playing an 18+ character. Please go over our intro and rules before deciding if this is a place you'd like to work. We are not particularly comparable to most of the other venues you may be familiar with, so please be very sure this is an environment you can enjoy before applying. 

Recruitment is currently: OPEN for all positions. We are also looking for any day promotions. 

Hours:
Monday: 9pm-12am US Eastern time (6pm-9pm Pacific time)
Saturday: 9pm-2am US Eastern time (6pm-11pm Pacific time) - first or second half only shifts also available

Role descriptions: 

Dungeon monitor/security (SFW, light/medium RP): Ensure no one is going into gpose. Enforce weapons rules when necessary. Enforce Lalafell clause. Keep an eye on chat and ask guests who are encroaching upon topics banned in public chat to take it into private party chat/DMs. Generally watch chat and ensure rules are being followed and we're being represented appropriately. Handle minor issues between guests or raise them to management. Welcome to engage in RP on slow nights, but on busy nights security should remain focused on watching chat scroll/the room and not on their own RP.

Front desk (SFW, medium RP):  Send welcome /tell to people entering to confirm age and share carrd/rules. If a Lalafell comes in, send extra tell detailing Lalafell clause. Take payments for general services and handle shop transactions. Occasional housekeeping shouts.

Bartender (SFW, heavy RP): Engage in conversation with guests and roleplay preparing and serving snacks/drinks (all items will be provided for you). Can remain behind the bar or wander around the upstairs checking in on guests and taking/delivering orders.

Flex staff (SFW, med to heavy RP): Fill in for above roles when regular staff are unavailable.

Consort (heavy RP): Primary point of contact for guests. Greet and engage with guests and take bookings for scenes in public or private. Sexual services are not required, but you must be able to provide some degree of kink services.

Cross-DC promotions (zero RP): Run PF for the venue on other data centers during our open. This is NOT shoutrunning; all you need to do is have a PF open while you're gathering/fishing/chilling in Limsa/FATE farming/doing your own RP/making dinner/whatever. We only give the link to the carrd to people who seek it out.

What you can expect of us:
- Our current payment scheme is an equal split between all staff members at the end of each night. The absolute minimum rate is 200k/person, but takes can also be much higher and we've had multiple previous openings where all staff take home upwards of a million or even two million each. All shares including the owner's/managers' are equal regardless of job responsibilities. Money in via purchases and services is tracked via a spreadsheet including times to ensure accuracy. You're welcome to keep any tips you receive on top of regular fees.

- Organisation is handled via a private staff-only section of our Discord server. In general, all 'behind the scenes' staff chat is fully out-of-character. Staff may need to report to work around 10 minutes before opening, however, our close times are firm - I won't ask you to stick around for any longer than it takes to debrief and dole out pay for the night, although you're welcome to stay later on your own time.

- For consort positions: you will always be allowed to refuse a guest outright or choose to end a session early should you no longer be comfortable. You do not need to give a reason.
What will be expected of you:
- You must be able to show up and work for at least one full shift per month in order to keep your staff slot.

- You will need to have an in-game CWLS slot available.

- You will need to be able to use Google Sheets. (You can do so anonymously if you wish.)

- You do NOT have to join the FC or move your character. Characters from any world/DC are welcome!

- As part of the uniform, you must be willing to wear a red hyacinth corsage, which will be provided for you, and ensure your outfit is primarily in tones of black, red, and/or pink. We can provide appropriate dyes if necessary with the exception of jet black. Otherwise, you are free to wear whatever you like within the confines of our dress code.

- Privacy and trustworthiness is ESSENTIAL for the safe and fun operation of this venue. We do not talk about what happened at the dungeon anywhere outside of the dungeon RP community. Do not try to contact guests out-of-character without their express consent, or mention knowing them via the venue should you come across them in non-roleplaying contexts. This is a hard line policy for me: players need to feel comfortable bringing their characters here regardless of what else they may get up to in the game, and not feel as if their participation will 'follow' them.

- I have zero tolerance for out-of-character kinkshaming, queer/transphobic behaviour, etc. This includes your behaviour elsewhere online - anything that has your in-game name on it and could be reasonably traced back to our club.
