💫 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐌𝐀 𝐏𝐒𝐈 𝐙𝐄𝐓𝐀 💫 Sigma Psi Zeta (ΣΨΖ) is a progressive multicultural sorority established on March 23, 1994 at the University at Albany. Since it was founded as the first Asian-interest sorority on the East Coast, Sigma Psi Zeta has continued to grow with 43 memberships nationwide. We are the Alpha Upsilon Charter, founded on March 21, 2021 with a class of 12 members. Our SYZters have worked together with the goal of empowering womxn of color and supporting our National Philanthropy of combating violence against womxn in its varied forms. We abide by our 10 Rays of SYZterhood: Scholarship, Professionalism, Culture, SYZterhood, Community, Philanthropy, Activism, Citizenship, Integrity, and Legacy. We use the term “SYZters” instead of “sisters” to be inclusive towards gender neutral members.
