ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE OF LIABILITY, AND AGREEMENT NOT TO SUE FOR
PERSONS PARTICIPATING IN ACTIVITIES OR USING EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES PROVIDED
THROUGH THE PRINCETON CLUB OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
I understand that the participation in activities provided through the Princeton Club of Northern
California (“PCNC”) involves potential risks of injury, both serious and minor, including, but not limited
to, illness as a result of COVID-19, cuts, head injuries, broken bones, and even death. I expressly
assume all risks of injury and/or death associated with, arising out of or related to activities, equipment,
or facilities provided by PCNC.
I know my general state of health and will only participate in the activities provided by PCNC to the
extent that my health permits me to do so safely.
COVID-19: COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that can cause injury and/or death and I further
agree that PCNC cannot guarantee a risk-free environment in any location. I freely and knowingly
choose to encounter any and all such risks while participating in PCNC events. I will not attend the
PCNC events or participate in any PCNC activity if knowingly infected with COVID-19 or if I have an
elevated temperature or am exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms.
Recognizing and understanding the potential risks of injury and/or death, I hereby release and agree
not to sue the Princeton Club of Northern California, and the officers, agents, employees, and
volunteers thereof (the “Releasees”) for any loss or damages (“Harm”) associated with, arising out of,
or related to my participation in activities or use of equipment or facilities provided by PCNC events,
unless such Harm is due to the gross negligence or intentional misconduct of the Releasees.
I intend this release and agreement not to sue to be legally binding on my heirs, personal
representatives, relatives, and assigns with respect to Harm to me. I understand that I am giving up
legal rights and remedies which otherwise would be available to me.
I agree that this assumption of risk, release of liability, and agreement not to sue (“Agreement”) is to
be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the State of California and that if any portion
of it is held invalid it is agreed that the balance shall continue in full force and effect.
I am 18 years of age or older and voluntarily sign this Agreement in consideration of being permitted
to participate in activities or use equipment or facilities provided by PCNC.
In addition, if any minor is attending with me, I represent that I am the parent or legal guardian of the
minor(s) and, in addition to signing this Agreement in my individual capacity, sign this Agreement on
behalf of the minor(s) in consideration of the minor(s) being permitted to participate in activities or use
equipment or facilities provided by PCNC.
My RSVP, purchase of tickets, and/or attendance of a PCNC event constitutes my acknowledgement
of this Participant Agreement and serves as a virtual signature
