Celebrate our history by sharing engaging information through a digital display, promotional video, PowerPoint slides, or celebratory remarks to showcase information in one the following areas.

Potential Interactive “Legacy Exhibitor” Categories *

BLACK EXCELLENCE: Share information/highlights relevant to the African diaspora pertaining to African-American, Afro-Caribbean or Afro-Latino subcultures (locally or nationally). Why is Black History still relevant?

ABOUT US: How do you serve the constituents of the Greater Hartford area? Share the services you offer the community and relevant materials in an engaging/interactive way OR your how you celebrate Black History through the lens of your organization, and contributions from people of color in your industry.

LEGACY EMPOWERS: Considering the theme of our event “A Legacy Revealed | One Nation. One Assignment” share something that demonstrates the theme in the context of social justice, social action, advocacy, equity, community organizing / impact, arts, cultural philanthropy, health equity, unity or solidarity.

HIGHLIGHTS: Showcase contributions, innovations, or highlights featuring instrumental people of color, locally or nationally.

SERVICE WITH A PURPOSE: Share something about your organization that can inform, empower or inspire others to move towards their purpose. Feel free to include culturally relevant or timely upcoming events or activities.
