As part of the efforts for continuous improvement and as part of the accreditation process, MTHS has been preparing a self study report  to identify areas of strength, growth and also identify critical areas of need.  This report is being finalized and then will be sent to a visiting committee made up of educators from ACS WASC in September.  Our last WASC visit with a full self study occurred 6 years ago so a lot has evolved and changed.  This committee will read the report, look over evidence including past surveys, feedback, data points, etc.  They will also visit our classes (virtually) and speak with students and staff during their visits. In addition, in order to get all perspectives and insights, they would like to hear from our valued parent/guardian partners.  

While they suggested a group of about 10-15 parents/guardians in order to be able to hear from everyone, we wanted to give anyone interested in participating a chance to sign up.  If there are more than we need, we will seek to include parents/guardians representative of our student population from all grade levels and areas of interest to the best of our ability and if needed do a lottery pick.

This virtual meeting will occur on on Sunday, September 19th, in the  late afternoon/early evening for about 60-90 minutes.
