The Linganore Band is planning a spring trip to Walt Disney World over Spring Break in 2024. We will likely depart by charter bus late on the evening of Sunday, March 31, returning late on the evening of Saturday, April 6. The band will visit the WDW parks for four days, April 2-5, and will march in the Magic Kingdom on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 3. What parks the band will visit on which days will be determined at a later time.
The purpose of this form is to gauge STUDENT interest in this trip so we can get a general idea of numbers for planning purposes. A commitment form will be published over the summer and will be available the first week of band camp, and will be due, along with a deposit, at the end of camp on August 10. The first of two or three trip payments will be due in early September. When we traveled to WDW in 2022 the total trip cost, including transportation, lodging at Disney's Pop Century, park tickets and meals was $1,300.00. Disney prices continue to go up.
Once we have an idea of how many students and staff will be traveling, we will provide an opportunity for parents to express interest in one of a limited number of chaperone spots.
