The Original Peoples of the Pan-Pacific Salmon Seas have from time immemorial honored their obligation to safeguard our natural and cultural heritage for future generations. It is our collective sacred duty and obligation to honor and protect salmon with our stewardship.

In this spirit of an ancient covenant with the Creation we therefore:

• Honor first and foremost the intrinsic right of the Original Peoples to continue existing as Salmon Peoples, whose cultures and lifeways are intertwined with the well-being of our natural environment.
• Support individual and collective efforts to restore and protect for future generations our Salmon relations and their lifeway throughout the Salmon Seas.
• Call for respect and reciprocity among cultures and communities as we strive to ensure the long-term and sustainable coexistence with our Salmon relations
