Would your student like to be considered to join the STA CYO Chess Team to participate in matches at other schools on Wednesdays, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, and the all-day CYO team tournament on Saturday, 11/12?  Divisions are 3rd Grade & Under, 6thGr&U, and 8thGr&U.  Cost is $55 and is direct billed by STA when I submit the final team list.  Note: If signing up to play in the CYO league, the student really needs to attend September practices and all matches, or else their teammates may have to forfeit games.  Non-chess club members will only be invited to CYO teams if STA is short a player or two to complete a 4-person team. *

Other thoughts or comments?  Especially let me know if you will have conflicts with CYO matches on Wednesday's in October and November, and the culminating full-day Saturday CYO team tourney on November 12.  With advanced notice I can try to find alternates.
