Imagine narrow alleyways in blushing pink stone, sprawling markets crammed with carpets and spices, calls to prayer piped out from ancient minarets and you have Marrakech, the starting- and ending- point of this vibrant journey. In between, we will go on an adventurous road trip through rugged landscapes that offer spectacular scenery: through the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, verdant valleys and deep gorges until we head deep into the sand dunes of the Erg Chebbi desert where we will spend two nights in a luxury camp. The journey will be an adventure to excite, inspire and remember.

*Please note that there is a fair amount of driving in order to arrive at the magnificent Erg Chebbi desert. We will be transported by private, air-conditioned vehicle for five hours for two days to the desert and then back again (for a total of about 10 hours each way), plus stops at some of the most beautiful and significant cultural and natural sites in Morocco, including the Tizi n'Tichka pass, Ait BenHaddou, Ouarzazate, the Skoura Oasis, Boumalme Dades and Todra Gorge. There is of course yet another mode of transportation we must not fail to mention: camels! On our first morning in the desert, we will travel in a camel caravan led by camelteers and if the conditions are good, we may have a picnic lunch in the dunes.
