Thank you for registering for a workshop with WQED Filmmakers!
IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFO: Participants must wear a mask and practice social distancing, regardless of vaccination status.
The Acting Workshops with Jeff Monahan is a 7-part workshop series taking place Wednesdays from October 26th through December 7th from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM in-person at WQED Multimedia (4802 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213).
In this workshop on Scene Study and Character Development, students will
learn a specific technique that will take them from a first reading to a
polished performance in just three in-class rehearsals (outside
rehearsal is completely optional). Learn how to
interpret and analyze a play, break down a scene for action, and
develop character traits that may be very different from the actor, but
true for the character, while still retaining a sense of self-expression
and personalized truth.
The cost of the 7 part workshop series is $295. Payments can be made here:
https://www.shopwqed.org/WQED-Film-Academy/Workshop-Series (link will be in the confirmation page after you submit the form!) If you are sending a check, please make payments out to WQED and put "WFA Workshops" in the memo line.
