The Art of Listening, Asking, & Storytelling for Advocacy and Beyond
Register for the workshop series on storytelling and subject interviewing skills for advocacy work and beyond, lead by  Professor Alexander Chen (15), founding Director of the LGBTQ+ Advocacy Clinic at HLS  and Andre Perez, founder of the Transgender Oral History Project, film director & producer, and educator.  The three-part series is designed to help you think about and practice this skill from start to finish.  As a series, the progression of learning from the screening and discussion, to workshopping your own story/subject's story, to the pragmatics of doing so on camera with the support of the LXT Lab  is most impactful as a cumulative endeavor, so we highly recommend participating in all 3. That said, if your schedule does not permit, each session has something unique to offer. Space is limited to 40 people per session, with smaller LXT lab sessions and the option to schedule more lab time based on demand. If you register and then cannot attend, please contact Emily Neill (eneill@law.harvard.edu) asap so we can draw from the waitlist. For a more detailed description of each session, see the HLS Beyond website
