Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child in 2022-23 St. Anne Sacramental Preparation Programming. Entrance into sacramental preparation classes mandate certain diocesan criterion. Please review the specific checkpoints for each program to verify that your child is eligible for participation this year.

Supplemental Form to the Standard St. Anne RE Registration Form

First Reconciliation / First Communion Eligibility Requirements

A First Reconciliation/First Communion Preparation Candidate has:

• Registered as a parishioner of St. Anne Church

• Received the Sacrament of Baptism
• If candidate baptized at St. Anne, all set
• If not baptized at St. Anne, a copy of Baptismal Certificate from the other parish required

• Is 2nd grade or older (7 years old or older)

• Has completed at least one year of formal religious education
• If candidate has attended RE classes at St. Anne, all set
• If candidate has not attended RE classes at St. Anne, a letter from other parish or Catholic school required
• If 2nd grade candidate has not attended any RE classes prior, they need to speak with Director of Religious

Education to discuss appropriate placement.
-- The student will be eligible to enroll in the sacramental program the following year (2023-2024)
• The FR/FC sacrament preparation class typically has a handful of older grade students (3rd, 4th, and 5th) enrolled who have completed at least one year of RE

• Desires to receive the Sacraments
