SFCASA YOUth Empowerment Board Application
Requirements : 
  1. Must be currently or formerly system involved (foster care or juvenile justice )
  2. 16- 24 years old
  3. Currently or formerly system involved
  4. available 15-20 hours per month (4 in-person meetings at the SFCASA office located at 2535 Mission street, SF CA 94110 and independent work)
  5. 9 month time commitment
  6. Prior work experience NOT necessary

*Applications close August 10th, Interviews start the week of August 14th. Position Starts August 25th with a $500 monthly stipend.

The current job description suggests a 9-month  commitment with a weekly work requirement of about 5 hours. This includes some independent work as well as 4 monthly meetings (2 in-person and 2 virtual )  in order to connect with other peer board members and SFCASA's TAY (Transition Age Youth) Coordinator. Members will be compensated with a $500 monthly stipend for their time. Based on this current schedule, do you foresee any challenges or barriers to participating in the program?
