2022 Down with Derby Model Submission
Models must be available on the following dates and times:

03/31/2022 from 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM (for meet and greet and dress rehearsal on-site at Kentucky Derby Museum.

03/28/2022 - 04/01/2022 - For outfit selection and fitting. Fitting should not take more than 30 minutes. Transportation to and from fittings is the responsibility of the model or chaperone. Exact times will be scheduled with the boutique you have been assigned.

04/14/2022 from 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM - The Down with Derby fashion show. Models will be scheduled for hair and makeup between 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Final dress rehearsal will take place between 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM. The evening starts at 6:30 PM with the runway show starting at 8:00 PM. The runway show will be approximately 40 minutes.

Models must be comfortable and/or capable of the following:

Being in a new environment
Being exposed to loud music
Taking pictures and posing
Walking or rolling independently across stage, without assistance and with ease
Following cues and taking direction
Changing clothes in front of others of the same sex, being assisted by approved volunteers
Having hair and/or makeup done
Maintaining a positive attitude
Interacting and getting along  with others
Being on camera

Models under the age of 18 or models with special needs must be accompanied by a chaperone during the dress rehearsal on 04/04, the fitting that will be scheduled between 04/05 - 04/12 and during the event on 04/14.

Models are requested to fundraise $250 each to help cover the cost of the event and to support the mission of Kids Center for Pediatric Therapies.

There are NO EXCEPTIONS to these requirements.
