We would love to have a few volunteers on a weekly or monthly basis to assist in the Avon East Library & Media Center! If you're unable to help out on a regular basis but may be interested in helping with special projects as they pop up, we'd be happy to take your info for those opportunities as well. Thank you for your interest!

If you volunteer in the library, you would be supporting our students and school by helping with these tasks:
• Maintaining the current collection—shelving newly checked in books and checking shelves to be sure books are in their correct location
• Preparing new books for cataloging by stamping them.
• Repairing damaged books or stamping them for discard if beyond repair.
• Assisting students with locating books of specific interest or reading level during their library time.
• Assisting students with STEM or other extension activities during their library time.
• Helping with special projects—preparing seasonal displays, setting up for special events, and generally being on deck for any of our "extra" fun!
