A. RESOURCE MATERIALS

a) Materials that are available for loan from Charis Toy Library includes parents' guide books, children's books, toys and teaching aids. 
b) Charis Toy Library reserves the right to ask for proof identity. 

B. NUMBERS OF ITEMS LOANED 
An individual member is entitled to borrow the following number of items at a time: 

a) Library/Adult resource books - 1pc
b) Children's books -  2pcs
c) Toys/Teaching Aids - 2pcs

C. LOAN REGULATIONS 

a) Members are not permitted to check out any resource materials on another person's behalf without an authorization letter written and signed by the parent with staff's acknowledgement. The membership card must be produced before item are allowed to be take out. 
b) Period of loan
     All items are loaned for 2 weeks. These items can be renewed once before the expiring date. 
c) Charis Toy Library reserves the right to recall any item/material back at any time. 
d) Charis Toy Library reserves the right to cancel membership without any given reason. 

D. FINES FOR OVERDUE LOANS 
The following are fines that will be imposed on our resource materials that are not returned by the due date: 

a) Library/Adult resource books RM2.00 per working day 
b) Children's books RM1.00 per working day
c) Toys/Teaching Aids RM1.00 per working day

E. CARE OF RESOURCE MATERIALS 

General 
a) Members will be held responsible for any mutilation or damage that may occur to the library materials on loan to them. 
b) Members are advised to check and report any mutilation before borrowing the materials. 
c) Members who lose or damage the items will be required to reimburse the full cost of the materials.
